The ultra jcvi it’s silver and has an Ethernet port on the back. Which jcvi works with 608 and is better than the one that comes with 608 ? They restrict 608 only with hardware needed to do the job alone the software is the same but you need the right type of jcvi for some programming Shame, because if it worked with Clip, it would be an option even cheaper than poor quality OP2 clones. The jcvi on ultra has an Ethernet plug on it and does much more programming because of it autel charges $999 for the ultra jcvi I asked autel this exact question they wouldn’t say yes but wouldn’t say no either they said maybe meaning yes it can do it but we prefer you buy both im608 and ultra. I tried all the drivers I could find (for both VNCI and Godiag) as well as did the firmware update, but had no success.

I got one purely out of curiosity how it compares with OP2, but unfortunately I was unable to get it working with Clip.Īfter doing the registry mod Clip properly recognized the device, however it is unable to do any talking to the car, it won't even read the VIN. Important thing to remember is that it only works with modules that have diagnostics on CAN bus! It will not be able to communicate with any modules that use K-line.Īs for multimedia can, I haven't tested, but theoretically it should be possible to make a simple adapter that swaps CAN pins from 6,14 to 12,13 if you want to only scan the multimedia bus. I was able to use Reprog and successfully updated firmware in the ECU. Some people say they can brick the device, but so far it's working fine, although I only use it offline. Newest official drivers fixed that problem. The old drivers that chinese put on their CD worked really poorly, scanning the car was very random and inconsistent, sometimes it didn't find any modules, sometimes only few. Works with Clip BUT I had to install the newest official drivers from Tactrix website. Did some testing of my own with both OP2 and VNCI J2534 Nano
